Thought it was cool when Buck went through former Giants like Cepeda, Bondsx2, Garrelts, etc., who never won rings.
I thought it was sad....ah well.

Well congrats to the Giants. Well played series.

Now you're only 4 titles behind the Dodgers (not counting Brooklyn & New York days).

See you in another 56 years!

The Parade in San Fran is tomorrow. If my bosses weren't out of town attending SEMA, I'd be there first thing in the morning. But alas...

No crying in baseball.
Look it Tom Hanks.
I cried like a baby after the 2002 world series, and screamed like a little girl after the final out of this world series.

I would be there if I didn't live in New Mexico.:)

Just like Boston fans forgave Bill Buckner....I have forgiven Dusty.
I never understood the Buckner hate. He got way too much blame in that game.

The Red Sox had already blown the lead and the score was tied when Wilson hit the grounder that went through his legs. Mets very well could have won the game later in extras anyway. Calvin Schiraldi was the bigger goat IMO.

I completely and fully agree.

Hell, if you're gonna blame someone, blame John MacNamara for putting a guy with no knees left at 1B.
