I imagine Pete Carroll will comment with ultra accountability like always; "I told him I guess the cops have nothing better to do I mean you're paying their salary so I guess they can just do whatever they want."

The whole league just needs to realize how damaging this season as a whole is shaping out to be. Football is still a great game and I love watching good football, but all this ancillary stuff has got to stop man it's getting more and more off putting. Fights on field, players being defiant with fans and the media, the always questionable officiating, on and on it's just been one thing after another this season...

It's all overshadowing all that the good things that so many of the NFL players do for others, and seriously detracting from the game as a whole.

Owners and Coaches aren't helping either. Whether it's guys like BA who tend to be a bit patronizing to fans and the media,,, to guys like Pete Carroll who are just completely full of crap... Owners throwing their hats in one side or the other of politics,,,, the arrogant 'ultra rich' commissioner and the whole concussion protocol sham... Man it just goes on and on. It's like they all don't want be rich anymore. lol The circus has become the main attraction for some odd reason.

pretty sure they think they have a crack product...that fans are so addicted they will never walk away...and even if a few do, there are always more junkies to take their place.

Not to inject politics............... but the recent changes in the net neutrality will have an affect as well. as folks start to plug back in TV ratings will start going back up...making them think they are doing something right...when in reality it will be due to fewer options for viewers..

makes me glad I like to read. I can go weeks without ever turning on the tv

Did he get a DUI? He didn't seem drunk or slurring words.

Other than using foul language, I didn't see him do anything illegal. And I'm always pro police. I think this is a lot to do about nothing. Of course, we don't see what led up to the cuffing either.

Cbus, you don't have be slurring your words to be considered under the influence/intoxicated in Arizona. A .08 reading is "presumed" to be under the influence by law. It is against the law to be driving with that reading in your body/blood.

Depending on your driving, reactions, etc., you can be charged and convicted with blood/alcohol readings of less than the .08.

Somebody can correct me if I am wrong about this, please.

It doesn’t matter if he was drunk. If you’re involved in a public altercation and the cops show up,,, common sense should tell you that the best course of action is probably not to lose your mind and start calling female officers the “B word” and go ballistic in general.

This whole incident would have been nothing had he not acted like a roided our maniac.

I think I erroneously said DUI when in fact it was drunk and disorderly. And, as was said, you don't have to be slurring words in order to act drunk. My uncle, God rest him, was an alcoholic and while I never seen him go off in fits of rage like this, I did see him go off half cocked cursing every other word. The thing with this jerk is that he may be on an NFL roster, he's still a nobody. He hasn't played a down so to be throwing out celebrity like this is down right stupid.
