According to multiple sources, free agent WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh will sign a multi-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle was offering at least $2M more than both the Vikings and Bengals. On top of things, the Hawks offered Houshmenzedeh the opportunity to return to the Pacific Northwest, where he played collegiately at Oregon State.

****...... That's all I got to say on this.. ****..

Not that Arizona needed a WR by a long shot, but Housh makes Seattle look a hell of a lot better than they were last season.

Opponents in the division getting better, great news. McFadden's price tag just went up.

IMO, this makes the Seahawks more of a threat than Warner signing with the Niners...though I think houshmenzdeh is not a playmaker but rather a damn good chain mover and consistent... in another way, making him a playmaker if getting first downs is just as important

Exactly.

This move makes Seattle legitimately better.

Warner to San Francisco is the case of a team polishing a **** and it remaining a ****.

I agree Diamondback Jay...a lot of people seem to forget that the Seahawk team we played was the walking wounded with tons of starters out and now they will be healthy with a legit WR

Housh is a decent, old, possession receiver. Housh won't be much of a match for DRC.

Housh has numbers that rival the best in the biz over the last 4 years, and he is going into a system tailor made for his skills. Matt Hasselbeck is a very happy man today, he'll be working with the best receiver he's ever had.

How much did Housh benefit by playing along side Chad Johnson? Can he be a #1 target?

it is simple to join...just talk about what a stud he was at LSU...tell all your friends about how he was the Sporting News topped ranked WR in their draft guide...and add an extra 10 cups of sugar to your Cardinal red koolaide...oh yeah...and pray an hour a day that he can be half as good as Boldin...BOOM...your in the club then :)

our fan club should also endorse he gets #81 because is seems it has a magic way of making Cardinal WR's studs, see the following for example

Roy Green
Frank Sanders
and Anquan Boldin

...yes, we must use every angle to succeed LOL

Great signing by the Seahawks. I don't think the NFC West will be such a laughingstock next year.

No moreso than Fitz or Boldin benefitted from eachother.

I'm not going to deny that Housh benefitted from Ocho Stinko, but Housh is a damn good WR in his own right. His route running skills and hands are far superior to Johnson's and he's in his own elite class in both of those skill sets.

He definitely can be a #1 target. The only downside on him is his speed, which I find to be overrated as **** at the WR spot anyhow. He may not win any foot races, but he's capable of breaking defenders and taking it to the house each time he touches the football. My view, if you are able to produce in the NFL, especially at a high level like Housh has, you've got more than enough speed.
