How fitting - The Crypt - can refer to the Lakers age as well

Are they going to pay in crypto currency? If so, the naming rights could be worth $5....It's believed to be the richest naming rights deal in sports history.
Crypto.com arena is better than the Footprint center. Just saying. Crypto is still expanding. I am sure the company will do just fine if they have a sound management structure. They make REAL money being the "broker" for people trading and managing cryptocurrencies.
My comment has nothing to do with what the companies do. My comment is on the name itself. Footprint is one of the dumbest naming rights a sport in AZ has had IMO. Probably my second least favorite next to the Waste Management Phoenix Open.Personally I'd rather have a company more into the environment with naming rights like Footprint.

Fair enough. Again my comments has nothing to do with "concerns" either. Just simply my reaction since it was renamed that stupid name.I don't see anything wrong with the name Footprint Center. I'm less concerned with what sounds cool and more about what the company does.
Today. Tomorrow it may be down by half....It's believed to be the richest naming rights deal in sports history.

AWA is still my favorite.I really didn't like Talking Stick Resort Arena. Dumb name and a bad job overall since Desert Sky Pavilion is now Ak Chin Pavilion and Jobing.com Arena is Gila River Arena. All I knew was there were a bunch of venues named after casinos but had no clue which were which. I only know these now because I googled them. I thought there was another but I guess I was wrong.
Locals know venues by 1 name usually and that's what they initially learned the name of the place was. Most people I know still call the Suns arena AWA or America West. I still call the Cardinals stadium University of Phoenix Stadium as well and knew quite a few people who do the same.
Naming rights are most valuable if you're first and if you aren't then you'll spend years hoping people won't call the place by it's old name.
not accounting for compounding
You lost me. Compounding from what?
