The #Rams are hiring Brandon Staley, formerly the #Broncos outside linebackers coach, as their new defensive coordinator, source said. A surprise hire and the first branch of the Vic Fangio defensive tree.

Lions have hired Brayden Coombs as the team’s special teams coordinator. Coombs comes to Detroit after spending the previous 10 seasons (2010-19) with the Cincinnati Bengals, including the last seven seasons as the team’s assistant special teams coach.

I just don't see McDaniels leaving New England for Cleveland. Shouldn't he be the HC in waiting for NE? If so, stick it out for a couple more years bro.

The New York Giants gave new head coach Joe Judge a five-year contract, per sources, with the hope that it will be those five and more. Giants don’t want anymore two and dones.

How did this guy come out of the blue and get hired over McDaniels? I am not a McDaniels fan but this is such a big surprise.

Check out what BB did to McDaniels:

Report: Bill Belichick Refused to Let Josh McDaniels Move up His Head-Coaching Interviews

"Despite New England being eliminated from the playoffs in the Wild Card round Saturday night, multiple sources from teams that had requested interviews with McDaniels said Belichick would not relent to move up their window to speak with McDaniels in the immediate days following that defeat," La Canfora wrote Saturday morning. "Brady's future is very much in limbo, with the 43-year old quarterback contemplating playing elsewhere in 2020, sources said, which would make retaining McDaniels even more paramount as there is no set replacement on staff and Brady has been in one offense his entire career.

"At the same time, Belichick was advocating for Judge for the Giants job, knowing that they couldn't hire both him and McDaniels.

Bill Belichick is a savage.:)

Some of the expert pundits, and I agree, holding on to Josh is the chance that Brady will come back and Bobby Kraft wants Tom back desperately. As G M /Coach B B gets the blame. Josh gets a poo load of money as OC so it is not as if he will starve. Any coach who is willing to coach for the Haslams is just getting in line to be fired.

Source: Texas A&M cornerbacks coach Maurice Linguist has accepted a job coaching in the secondary for the Dallas Cowboys. He’d emerged as one of the SEC’s top young coaches.

Maybe the Browns braintrust believes if Kevin can actually make people believe Kirk Cousins is good he can work well with Baker. Since Dorsey was fired who selected Stefanski.... Dee or Jimmy?
