I guess the Browns Owner & GM are tired of both Haley & Jackson.

Maybe the Browns did not want it to seem as if it was one or the other situation. Neither guy was a Dorsey hiring and Jackson was a favorite of the Haslams.
BTW, Lincoln Riley has already issued a non denial denial about interest in the job.

Some people you like, some you don't. I think this guy will be good somewhere usually have to bottom out first, in fact his father in law had that problem I think.
In today's NFL you really don't control much, who the players are, their attitudes, all you can control is you. I think he's just got to learn that and maybe it wouldn't hurt to get a little lucky? Like being put in a no win situation then winning.

By that standard pretty much anyone over the age of 40 that hasn't just rolled over has a toxic personality.

I wouldn't be surprised if his next stop is in the college ranks.
He was so reviled at the end of his Pittsburgh run that he had to use another coach as an intermediary with the players. His rep around the league is so bad he had to take a job with the lowly Browns, the lowly Browns fired him in half a season. I think he's running out of options in the NFL.

It's funny. The Cleveland Cavaliers just fired their coach, a coach who brought the team to 3 straight NBA Finals and who coached them to their first championship. Then the Browns, who's head coach has won 3 games in 3 years, still keeps his job and the OC is fired like he's the problem.

Haley helped AZ to the Super Bowl, he helped Pitt to multiple winning seasons and the #1 offense.

If you saw Hard Knocks you saw how Hue wouldn't support him when he wanted players practicing....Hue said, "nope, we will take care of our players and soft tissue potential problems.'
Haley got upset saying 'I've just come from the #1 offense in the league and other teams where I've won and NO ONE THERE does that....so why would we." IMO he's dead on.
Larry points to Haley stating Haley is the reason he's a better WR today.
