Stupid move by Elway

He missed all of last year and is injured again right now. Broncos already know how to live without him and now they get a 2nd and 3rd round pick for a guy with maybe 8 games left under contract. Seems like genius.

If we were as mediocre as the Broncos and was offered a 2nd and 3rd for the last 8 games of Chandlers contract I'd snatch their hands off.

Im sure people could say the same about JJ Watt. Your post reads exactly like that what people said of the Watt deal. Even down to the last great year being 2018.

And he still has an 85.6 on PFF this year.

Yeah I considered that, that's why I said it's not a huge tipping point but will make them better.

He's not the culture changer that Watt is. Which as been as important ans anything for this team.

I like this move for Rams.

If McVay cannot win SB with Stafford, Aaron Donald, Von Miller, Cooper Kupp, Andrew Withworth, Jalen Ramsey etc in the lineup may be he is more hype like Gruden and nothing more than an average coach.

Great move. This division is so dang aggressive. Opens up more one-on-one matchups for the Rams especially in games where the opponent needs to throw.

I don't think the Cardinals will counter, but we will see. The Fletcher Cox deal is interesting but it is going to cost more than I think most will like. Remember Cox only has 1 season where he had 10+ sacks in his career. Good news is that he is not just a 1 year rental.

Please get Fletcher Cox…we need this. And he played 15 games last year. If we are “all in” then let’s go all in

I wouldn't panic and make a trade. The Cardinals need to get healthy first and foremost. I'd look at the secondary trade market maybe, or look at veteran free agents.

The Rams will pay the piper down the road for all of these moves.

Not if they continue to draft decently in the mid rounds.

I hate the Rams but I do like this move. He's not the same guy he used to be but he doesn't actually need to be. They're going to win the majority of their games because they're very good. You get a guy like Miller for the big games, which this year would be us, Cowboys, Bucs etc. They can actually play him less than the Broncos did just bring him in to rush the passer and keep him on a pitch count.

I still don't see how the eagles would deal Cox seems like a huge cap hit for them, but it's being reported they ARE getting offers for him, teams are offering mid round pick but they want something higher.

That's a tall task to consistently find good players in the mid rounds. Even great GMs struggle with that.

This is an all in move. The Rams have a good team and a great coach. If it doesn't work, at least they went all out to make the push. This move COULD make them the title favorites, but if it doesn't work out, they miss out the chance to get some cheaper talent.

when? Three years from now? That’s an eternity in the NFL. I mean, look how long it’s finally taken the Seahags to start bottoming out.
Probably yes. It is an eternity, and the Rams aren't wrong in going after Miller. If they win a Super Bowl, it will be absolutely worth it. If they don't, at least they tried every avenue.

I wouldn't advocate the Cardinals going down this route though. The team is built differently than the Rams.

But watt isn’t getting healthy this season . . . in all likelihood.
