Is a savage. 10 sacks in 10 games. Just another undersized LB defying the odds! Glad PP has shown the same star qualities, so I don't have to stew over Denver snagging Von before us.

He's also going to paying a lot of fines.

The last one where he knocked the OT on his butt showed he can do it all as a pass rusher.

Tried to tell several posters here pre-draft that he's a lock multi-year Pro Bowler. I also remember the arguments over Peterson v Miller and am glad that we didn't have to make a choice between them. But, I figured there was no way in hell both would be there when we picked. Really, we were fortunate to get one of them.

yup. that play was pretty damn impressive... loved that he just put his helmet right in Sanchez's chest on the sack, pummeling him to the ground.

I had Von Miller as the lock for Defensive ROY, he has great speed and anticipation to get off the line. I think the cards would've chosen Miller over Peterson if given the opportunity, just due to the fact that a pass rush changes the entire dynamic of your defense. Great player, nevertheless, I can see him being a perennial Pro-Bowler type talent.

He was the one pass rusher that I saw last year that showed natural rush skills. Great speed and burst is impossible to teach and so valuable in this league anymore that size has really become overrated. Von Miller is a stud.

Yeah, I want to hear where on that last sack did Von Miller show that he can't bull rush. One of the most impressive sacks that I have recently seen.

I really like PP, but would much prefer VM.

Peterson has won us two games which is something that Miller can't say. I am happy with Patrick Peterson and a happy to see that I wasn't an idiot for saying that Miller would be an impact defensive player.

I read the guy completely wrong. Watched him pretty closely against LSU in the Cotton Bowl and although he played well I thought he was over matched by LSU's offensive line. Guess I missed another one. That being said, I'm really glad the Cards have Peterson

LOL Jets. Calvin Pace barely jogging after Tebow on that TD.

I would not trade Skelton for the top 5 pick Sanchez.

Sanchez might be the most overrated player in the league. I will give it to him that he has balls and will sling it around with the game on the line, but he really is not good.

And Von Miller. Wow. That just destroys the backfield. His 2nd sack on Sanchez was brutal, and he got there just as the ball left several times, ************* is gunna be sore tomorrow.

I was just going to post after seeing him in that game, that I thought he was going to be a beast because his first step was so quick but maybe I was thinking of another late season game. Either way, I really liked him but have no complaints with Peterson.

I'll freely admit I was wrong on Miller. I liked Robert Quinn more, and while Quinn hasn't had the fast start that Miller has, he'll be phenomenal too once he gets going.

The real question is, would he be starting over Joey Porter?

Robert Quinn's head or his health are the only things that can stop him from being a really good player in this league. He is young so it will be interesting to watch.

I was totally wrong about Aldon Smith in a 3-4. I knew that he would be a good rusher, but I didn't imagine that he would be so comfortable on his feet. I wonder if he played linebacker or offense at some point in time in his career.

The Cards were after Miller and if he was still there, would've taken him over PP. Denver beat us to him...

The first five picks have been outstanding.
1. QB Cam Newton Panthers- will be Offense Rookie of the Year
2. OLB Von Miller Broncos- will be Defense Rookie of the Year
3. DT Marcell Dareus Bills - Has been excellent and a starter from day one
4. WR A. J. Green WR Bengals - Their top receiver would be offense rookie of the year except that Cam has out shined him.
5. CB Patrick Peterson Cards Outstanding punt return & I think will become a shutdown CB.

The bottom line is that these are 5 very good payers. No busts and will become better.

Good news, ARZ could be in position to draft a bigger and stronger version of Miller. Most will say yeah Courtney Upshaw but the guy I am talking about is OLB/DE Vinny Curry out of Marshall. 6'5 245, second in the nation with 9.5 sacks, 5 FF and 59 tackles so far after posting 12 sacks and 94 tackles last year. This is my candidate for ARZ's 1st rounder if Matt Kahlil is gone. He was under the radar at the beginning of the year but will shoot up like Miller come draft day.

The mock draft I just read has this guy as the very last pick in the second round... sounds like your typical Cardinals pick to me! :D

Edit: Another mock on the same site had had at #28... still should be much better players on the board given where we should be picking though. A lot happens between now and draft day though!
