I believe satire and parody are protected from most libel and slander laws, but SF could probably tell us. I mean, I assume this was satire and not mere journalistic reporting.

The Clemen's jokes were about madmen.....RED RUM was from The Shining (Murder- backward) and the comment about Clarice was from Silence of the Lambs.
