I'm glad you were happy, but allow me a potentially rough story. I bought a polo shirt for my dad. After discount, tax and shipping, the price was $38.99.
It arrived damaged. It appeared that someone had attempted to remove a stray strand of thread only to pull too much leaving a horizontal indentation in the shirt four inches long. Two other, smaller, ones were there as well.
I called to ask for instructions for returning. They promised to send a label to ship it back. Once restocked, I could use their credit to reorder the item. I reminded them of the 40% discount which they promised to honor.
Two days later I reminded them to email me a shipping label. I sent it back that day.
After they received it, I called to initiate the replacement order. They told me it was an independent situation and that I would simply be ordering a new product and allowing the amount they refunded me to offset the charge I would have to pay for the product.
Fine, so I ordered the new product knowing that the refund on the old one would cover the price, but wait, they have to put through the purchase at full price then issue a refund for the difference. So far, for an XL polo shirt, I've paid $108.97, they have sent an email for a refund of an additional $38.99 but the other $30.99 is still in limbo.
All because I was the one stupid enough to buy a damaged shirt. This may turn out okay, but it's been way more work than it should have been (the damage occurred before it was packaged).
