I had tickets for 4 or 5 seasons and still go to one or two games a year. I've seen fights but never have been in one there. I'm the guy people ask to sit down because when on defense he is always standing and yelling.

I imagine the fights have nothing to do with that part of the game. It's either of two typical scenario

thug douche being himself and getting in someone's face over something trivial to the point where they are forced to fight back

Or

Two douches of opposing fandom meeting like a fight club romance novel

With that said, I love going to games but then again if some dude gets in my face I'm not shy to lay them out, there are witnesses everywhere that would keep me from being kicked out.

If you sit up top the view is amazing and the people aren't as rowdy.

So yeah, two steps left, don't make eye contact. And don't ask for bread. In our own stadium. Gotcha.

I don't get it. Why the hell they come to our house and start something. Why even come to the game if they can't handle their stupid team...

I feel our stadium is especially bad because of all the transplants. I wouldn't classify most of the idiots starting **** as football fans, but rather just idiots who start ****. Maybe it was where I was sitting, but I found the stadium to be more of one big bar full of idiots rather than a football stadium. I kind of miss the open air of SDS too.

I feel I get to actually watch the game better from home too... I worked the club concourse during a game once, and I really like the environment in there. Guess I have to price myself away from the riff raff if I want to enjoy a live game.

And don't get me wrong, I will pound some beer and have a good time, but there are just too many who don't know how to do that.

Do not do anything which makes you interact with S.A.F.E. Their anti-home-crowd bias has been well established on here. Another thing which makes no sense.

Yesterday, we were walking along the end zone where all the fans stand on both sides of the big red siren. There is a gated area where you are allowed to stand and cheer, but the rest of the space is for two concession stands, a salad cart, and a nachos in a pizza box place. There were Niners' fans standing around everywhere (in an area where that is supposed to be kept clear at all times) and my wife and I walking through (never stopping). A S.A.F.E. worker walks over to us, waves in the direction we are walking, and tells us "Move it along, folks." Uh, really?

I must be old, my wife and I haven't enjoyed a live game in years. We still go once or twice a year, but I have to admit I'd rather watch it on a big TV with a beer and some nachos. And halftime sex can't be overstated dude, I barely even miss the highlights, haha.

If anyone is looking for me on Sunday, I'll be at Darkside's house. For the beer and Nachos, of course. :D

Probably cleaner language than I hear at UoP during your halftime session.

Question: What was going on in the upper deck, Cardinals side towards the south endzone? Three whole sections were standing and watching and I couldn't tell what was going on from the other side of the stadium. I could see lots of police running up the stairs though.

I never had this problem at any away game as long as you act responsible and realize you are in their house. I get razzed a little but nothing out of the ordinary.

English Soccer had this problem a few years ago. Not sure how they did it but I heard some teams instituted a photo id for season ticket holders. You are responsible for what happens with that ticket. If you sold it to somebody and they started a fight you could lose your season tickets. I may be wrong but this is what I heard.

This happened to my brother as well, when he went to get food. He said it was really bizarre because the lady went out of the way to come over and tell him to keep moving when he slowed down for a second to see what was happening in the game.

My favorite S.A.F.E. interaction was when I was sitting in my buddy's old seats in the red zone a few years back and the person assigned to the bathroom on the the aisle where the players walk wouldn't let me take my beer in with me. One of the MCSO guy saw me arguing with here and came over thinking I was being a prick, and then told her she had to let me take my beer in with me.

Why do people take it so personal is what I don't get. I'm a fan not a player or owner and have absolutely no control over anything the team does.....that just might be too simple for angry fans I guess lol
