Typical. Cards release player A, he goes to team ?, plays near pro bowl football. Speaks to coaching and not player…
Drop the Wilks discussion. He’s not an NFL HC. He’s not even an NFL DC. Did you watch the Panthers last week against the Steelers? They were atrociously awful. Both Wilks and Kliff are examples of the garbage that the Bidwills have predominantly hired over many many decades.Sadly, the Panthers again played hard and tough for Wilks yesterday. Amazing that we lacked patience for him (yes, I know, his lone season as our HC was the definition of dumpster fire), yet have kept an obviously mediocre KK here for four years and perhaps more. SMH, a lot, even though I’ve witnessed (as we all have) a ton of maddening futility with this team.
Ahh I’ve been doing it wrong, I need to drink prior to a Cards game to make it enjoyable.Just flipped on the Pack-Fins game. Rodgers looking sharp in the 4th quarter. Regardless, after a cocktail this game seems enjoyable.
I still like Tua, but he's got some work to do. His mobility from college not translating into the NFL finally caught up to him in McDaniel's scheme. This isn’t really defending Kyler as it more so acting as if Tua would’ve been the right pick had we gone Bosa in 2019.
The fact Tua has been really bad recently with the crazy supporting cast he has(Waddle, Hill, Mostert), others, & a crazy talented offensive mind in McDaniel is really bad.
Nah, we want Denver to win this game.Rams doing their part to get us a better pick so far…
How does Seattle jump ahead of us? They have the Broncos pick. We just lost to the Broncos so we pick higher than them with tie-breaker, no? And the Rams winning takes a tie breaker out of draft scenarios for us and the Rams because they’ll have one more win than us.Nah, we want Denver to win this game.
Why?
Rams win means our division rival Seattle will jump ahead of us. I would much rather see Jalen Carter/Will Anderson go to Detroit instead of in our own division.
We have a stronger SOS(hate that Philly, Minnesota, & SF all have great records this year) than both LAR & DEN so even with tied records, we would finish behind both.
Best case scenario would be a tie between LAR-DEN, but that ain’t gonna happen.

Seattles not stupid. 8 good games from a career bust isn’t going to snow them into not taking a QB they can build around for the future.Though there is a small chance that Seattle goes QB if Geno continues to play bad.
That’s what I was thinking.Doesn't head to head factor here? Denver beat us

Rasul Douglas again playing well for GB. Good thing we released him last year.

Only for playoff positioning, not draft positioning.Doesn't head to head factor here? Denver beat us

If Rams win, then they’re a full game better than us and Denver both stuck at 4 wins. And if it’s just the two of us at 4 wins, head to head doesn’t matter?
Idk, they went about 8 straight years with some awful drafts. Like here, there was a lot of stupid decision-making there.Seattles not stupid. 8 good games from a career bust isn’t going to snow them into not taking a QB they can build around for the future.
