Once again, you show how little you know about basketball. Kobe was phenomenal, the Warriors were just too good tonight.

Tonight was Stephen Jacksons night. Props to Golden State, they deserved it.
i agree with you. kobe kept them in the game twice with his 3's at the end. he almost hit one on the lakers last series which would have made things really interesting. if anything, he helps his mvp chances with performances like this. he lead his team back from being down 23 to almost win the game against a potential playoff foe.

IF the Lakers end up the #1 Seed, (And that's a big IF,) we'll need a healthy Gasol and/or Bynum if the Warriors make the #8 seed. While I'm bummed about the loss, I'm impressed with the Warriors. They showed a lot of heart tonight. They could be dangerous in the playoffs.

Obviously, you know as much about how MVP is determined as you do about everything else. Nothing.

Gasol not being there won't hurt Kobe's MVP chances. He brought his team back and kept them in it the entire time. I can live with this loss, they played tough without Gasol and lost to a good team. I'm not upset about it, but thanks for your "sincere" wish anyway.

If Lakers end up #1 and Warriors #8,Warriors might repeat the play-off surprises again.Lakers can regret being #1.Unless Bynum+Gasol comes healthy, because Warriors only have Biedrins and B.Wright as big guys

Remind me that when Lebron is MVP and C.Paul being 2nd
No problem for the wish

I think I'll just add you to ignore. If you're so foolish that you think that the Warriors could beat the Lakers in a 7 game series with Gasol playing, then you truly know nothing.

It's one thing to be a good fan of your team. It's one thing to root against your opponents, but it's another thing to constantly show your incredible ignorance in refusing to acknowledge the obvious. The Warriors needed a great game from Jackson to barely beat the Lakers without their 2nd best player on the floor, and you think the Warriors could go seven? They could no more beat LA then they could Phoenix. One game? sure. They might even take the back to back. But a 7 game playoff series? Get real. We don't need Bynum to beat Golden State. They aren't the Spurs, Suns or Hornets.

Guess what?Last year the same Warriors eliminated Dallas when people were saying the exact same things.Dirk was the MVP and Dallas coach Avery Johnson was the coach of the year. And they have ended the season with record 67-15.That was so foolish and something to ignore, people were called not knowing anything about basketball last year too.

Plus you gotta stop manipulating,I said if 'Bynum and Gasol don't come healthy".Right?

Lakers fans should prefer Denver,Dallas,Houston over Warriors.

22 rebounds for Odom, that's a nice effort. He's inconsistent, but I have a lot of respect for him and his game. He has more class than everyone on the Spurs put together, for example.

And before calling people foolish just because of saying "Warriors might beat LA in play-off's if Bynum and Gasol don't come back healthy",you gotta know Lakers is 48-22 and Warriors 43-26.With a win agains Lakers tomorrow,it's 4 wins difference,Lakers playing 71 games to Warriors' 70.

And you are talking as if Lakers have 15-20 wins more than the Warriors.
Plus,I am telling you,Dallas was 67-15 and hottest team, and that was 7 games series right? So,sit down and learn to digest the loss

20 double doubles in his last 24 games. Most players would kill to be that "inconsistent."

You're probably the only Laker fan in the world who denies that Odom is inconsistent. Double-doubles are the most overrated statistic out there.

I said I respected his game, so let's leave it at that.

I think there might be a slight breakdown in communication. I agree totally that double doubles are over rated stats, no doubt.

At one time, I would have agreed on Odom being inconsistant, but this year, I disagree. Granted, Lamar has benifeted greatly from having Gasol or Bynum take the attention off him. None the less, he's stepped up lately with Gasol and Bynum both out, and I give him props for that. Lamar has been inconsistent and injury prone for the bulk of his career. This season though, he's managed to improve in both areas. Is he going to get 20/20 a night? My god, no. But he's still been a solid player this year.

The Suns loss is turning out to be a costly game in the standings: last night Lakers beat GS in OT and Houston won, and tonight Hornets win, Spurs win, and most likely Dallas and Utah will win as well.

With the one loss, the Suns have fallen back down to 6th in the standings, effectively 2.5 games behind the Lakers and Hornets (if you count the tie-breakers), and half a game behind Houston and SA. What a difference a couple of bad calls can make.

Kobe was only 2 techs away from a suspension, so he really screwed us today. Next game we won't have Bryant, Gasol, or Bynum. We'll be lucky to score 30 points.

Thanks Kobe, you f***'nig hot head.

Darth, that post is music to my ears. :p

Lakers lose and Kobe is suspended. If the Suns had won today, this would have been a marvelous day

Wait, it's 16 Ts to get a suspension, isn't it? You mean Kobe's already got 14?

I believe he had 13 going into the game, so maybe he won't be suspended.

Either way, getting smeared by the Bobcats at home is pathetic. You guys feel bad cause you lost to Boston? HA.. you got nothing on us today..

At least you lost to a good team on the road. We got smeared at home by a **** team.

What can I say, Llama? Our teams let us down today.

On another note, will these rules carry over to the playoffs? The rule is that the 16th T will be followed by suspension. Every T after that will similarly be followed by a suspension. Damn.

This goes to show that nothing good will ever come out of complaining to officials. They even made this rule for the purpose of stopping players and coaches from showing them up when they blow calls.

NBA T Rules too harsh?

Meh, I saw this one coming. The Lakers, for God knows what reason, have problems with the freaking Bobcats. I have no idea...but they just do. They are stupid for not taking advantage of the seeding miracle they were given...idiots.

Can a technical be rescinded? Because the second T on Kobe was bogus...he did and said nothing. He got a T for looking sad.

Amare had one removed. During the Heat game, he asked the ref why he was called for the foul and got tossed.
