Has Kobe ever played in a nationally televised game against a worthy opponent without having some sort of handicap ala' the sniffles, hangnail,or otherwise "Oh...poor Kobe,he's gutting it out for the good of the team...."
Give me a break already.

Yeah, he was probably sticking his finger in his throat to throw up at halftime.

Chalmers had 16pts and 13asst last night while clampling down on felton(4-17). Im starting to think he was the steal of the draft. he sure would look good on the suns instead of lopez now.

So your saying Kobe pulls the handicap thing like 20 times a year? They are the most televised team in the league. It would stand to reason once in awhile the guy would get sick. Then again, I suppose you think he just pulled his finger out of the socket weeks ago just for the exposure. Lame!

Kobe would probably tank a playoff series just to get extra attention and get people feeling sorry for him.
Oh wait....
Bryant tried to keep the Lakers in it in the first half by scoring 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting. The league's leading scorer, Bryant netted 50 points in Game 6.

But in a puzzling disappearing act, Bryant deferred to his teammates in the second half Saturday, taking just three shots and scoring one point on a technical free throw.

"If we were going to get back in this type of game we had to have everybody contributing," Bryant said. "In the first half I started to pick it up offensively just to keep us in the hunt. If we were going to get back into the game in the second half everybody has to get into a rhythm and that didn't happen."

Through the first four games of the series, Bryant had been giving more responsibility to his teammates. The superstar attempted 35 shots in Game Six, but faded in the second half in his team's biggest game of the season.
Kobe has always been about Kobe.

Bob cats beat the pacers, Diaw has 3 asst 1 TO, 7-13 for 14 pts and 6 boards. Scoring was very balanced and radmonivich scored 15(6-12, 2-4 from 3) off the bench. Gerald wallace(10) and okafor(12) grabbed 22 boards. Wallace scored 25 on 5-17, but had 15-17 FTs.

Raptors lost to the cavs in marions debut 93-76, but lebron needed 17 shots to score 20, better than most defenders against Lebron.

In the heats loss to the "Jeffersonless" Twolves Jermaine Oneil scored 13 and grabbed one, yeah you got it, one rebound in 27 minutes. Oh yeah, the heat were thrashed on the boards 49-24. Now there is an obvious scenario when the rebounding was needed and it didnt happen for JO. Looks like JO is, so far, not replacing marion very well.

In a bit of a suprise, the chandlerless hornets thumped the magic its 107-77(3 mins left) and dwight howard turned in a terrible performance against the likes of hilton armstron and shawn marks. It appears that dwight misses jamir nelson. Dwight scored 12 points hitting 2-4 from the floor and 8-15 from the line and could manage only 8 boards against the "near D league" defense of armstrong and marks. Chris paul shredded the vaunted magic defense killing them on the pick and roll for 36/10 asst in 31 mins. I saw part of the game it was very ugly for the magic. The suns arent the only team having trouble guarding CP3, LOL!
