How did you remember him?

I remember being an early critic of Levi Brown and being shouted down because he had a nasty attitude or some nonsense.

Then later on, I remember defending Levi Brown as among the top half of NFL LTs, and getting shouted down.

There might have been a time when Levi Brown critics were in the minority, but that was a pretty long time ago. People have been wanting to cut him or move him to guard for a pretty long time.

You mean the way 80% of this board defended Levi Clown year after year & sack after sack after sack? ;)

Mentioning that sack of garbage should be a ban-able offense on this board. :D

Precisely my point, most of this board had the Clown as a pretty good LT when his on the field play proved otherwise. So where did you have him rated at LT at his peak & what years was that I'm dying to know K9. He was mediocre at best when he played LT imo.

Even if I believed Brown was anything better than a scrub, I would not publicly admit it.

Problem is TJ he wasn't. I can't find the stats on sacks allowed by him now, but over the course of his career he was in the bottom in pressures & sacks allowed. Now I can't find them...good thing cause it will just get me pissed off at Graves again. Not only didn't the Cards learn how bad he was once, they brought him back again when no other team wanted him after getting cut. :mulli:Jeez

Is that how you remember him or is that how you are reacting to how the board reacted?

Are you saying he was bad to start his career and got better?

I defended Levi and Leonard Davis. Plus, I've spent many a thread defending fan whipping boys Antrell Rolle and Beanie Wells.

I still thought the should have kept LD but LB's play did diminish to the point he had to be replaced.

Hey, I met Big Leonard after the Chargers game this year and he shook my hand. Turned my evaluation of his play as Cardinal a complete 180. :D

I don't 'hate' him. He just isn't that good, isn't worth the amount we are paying for him, and want an upgrade. Unfortunately he is the best that we have at the moment.

I put hate in quotes for a reason. Use whatever adjective you like but I bet if we post a poll more posters would choose cut Sendlein then not and the reasoning being that they think he is a lousy OC.

I'm on record saying that Sendlein could be upgraded but it is WAY down on the priority list for me.

OLBers and ILBers are the top priorities (at least 2 ILBers & 1 OLBers) and then probably OG and then CB. NT is a huge need if Dumpster Dan isn't re-signed. I'm very concerned about the depth at OT so I would like a LT added before an OC. I expect two of the following to be here next year; DD, Frostee, Kelly which means DE is covered.

Now we can look at Safeties, WR's and the OC position for upgrades.
