This kid can fly, he can cover multiple positions & can be put in so many different defensive packages. VJ has absolutely no excuse for the TE not being covered now, none whatsoever. I wanted Derrick Brown all along but I warmed up to Simmons in the last month or so quite a bit. I've actually watched him a lot the last 2 yrs. He's not gonna make any bone crushing hits but his man almost always goes to the ground. He can cover the slot & the TE. I'm very happy with this pick.

Wouldn't have went wrong with a OT but this team needed playmakers on defense and they picked up one hell of a playmaker!!

I think so also. He's too talented to keep off the field. Love the way Jalen Thompson was playing to end the season, he was in on or around every tackle it seemed.
