We need to start Tony Clark and aquire a third baseman. The production that we are getting offensively from those two positions is pathetic. Anyway to get Troy Glaus back? How about for Tracy, Callaspo and Valverde, and then we move Tony Pena to closer.

What is the deal with our young players, none of them are performing. I didnt think they were all going to be allstars, but I thought at least one would have a breakout year-either Quentin or Drew...

Tony Clark is NOT an everyday player and has not been one for several years now. When his workload increases, his production drops significantly and it isn't like he has been killing the ball so far this season either. Tracy has been one of the more productive players on the team as of right now before getting that minor injury so I do not understand how you are singling out the hot corners over any of the other positions as few are currently hitting.

Yeah, don't forget our hard hitting new dad catcher Chris Snyder & his bud Miguel Montero & the occasional Robby Hammock. So what was wrong with Estrada again?

Estrada's season last year has become increasingly overrated. Sure he hit .300, but his constant hacking at the plate (you could seriously throw the rosin bag and he'd take a swing) cost his team time and time again. With a .328 OBP (which is downright putrid for a guy hitting .302) and his OPS+ of 91, he was very much replaceable especially when considering the money and the whispers of him being a clubhouse cancer. I'll take Doug Davis over Estrada any day.
