What would you think of Richie Incognito at right guard? Cheap, a local guy and nasty as hell. He might bully Cooper into showing up.

A year ago I'd have said "hell no", but he had a great year last year and seems to have matured. I think he merits a look. The line needs to get fixed and he'd fill a position of need. I don't want to have to count on Cooper suddenly waking up and becoming starting material.

I think the fact that someone else took a chance on him and he stayed out of trouble makes it at least a possibility for teams to consider him but I know some guys that know him and he is still a little loco.

Sometimes a little crazy is good for a football team. By the way Incognito rated out as like the 3rd best guard in football last year say what you want but he's a stud and a huge upgrade to what we have now.

I think he got kind of a bad deal in that whole Martin thing. I think Martin has proven to be kind of a headcase himself I think he was just looking for a way out.

But yes....heck yes I want him.

Absolutely not. This team has legitimately good guys with talent. We've got room for guys with some questionable character, and they're on this roster, but Incognito is a thug.

Keep away.

He's a legit top 5 guard in the NFL. I'll take that anyday.

Like I said I don't think he's a bad just just like a Bro type. He's just a meathead jock.

You can bring him in if you have leadership that doesn't tolerate the crap he pulled in Miami. I believe we have that leadership in Palmer, Iupati, and Fitz, but if you sign him, you are saying goodbye to Cooper. I don't know how competitive Cooper is, but I know Richie is highly competitive.

For me it comes down to cost. If the price is good, he brings needed toughness to our offensive line.

Agree make no mistake Veldaheer runs that last line in the locker room from all reports.

This team needs some nasty. If he is that good I do it on an incentive laden contract.

Someone will pay him a ton of money. I'd take the talent. This starts to get into the conversation of character. It's a slippery slope with an NFL roster.

Isn't he a left guard? Don't we have a good one (can't spell his name). I thought the concern was on the right side?

At 32 years old? And with some baggage, I think a fairly moderate contract would do it.

And yes. :bhiich:
