Back in Arizona!!!
Looks like the Houston game won't be broadcast until 9pm Sunday evening on NFL network.
That sucks. So glad I live in Vegas. Get all cards preseason games live on channell 33.
Now the big question... do I try to avoid learning the score all day and waiting to watch the broadcast, or not.
woot woot....great isnt it? I knew there was one advantage of living here.
If you're assuming the game will be aired on NFL Network, the grid on my DirecTV screen shows the game being re-telecast there at 1 am Monday ET (which would translate to either 10 or 11 pm AZ time).Looks like the Houston game won't be broadcast until 9pm Sunday evening on NFL network.
Great! So I can go to the game at the stadium and still get home in time to watch it!Jeff - you are right, I checked on the grid last night and found it will be on 10pm Saturday night as well. Thus, I am pumped about that. I had previously checked the NFL.com website for the broadcast times; looks like it's been updated in the DTV system. Now I don't have to wait too long for the rebroadcast!
I just rechecked my NFL Network grid on DirecTV.
They now - as of 4:30 pm ET Friday night 8/13 - have scheduled the re-airing of the game a day earlier than originally planned - at 1 am ET Sunday morning the 15th (instead of 1 am ET Monday the 16th).
If the schedule remains as-is, it means the NFL Network rebroadcast will occur just 4 or 5 hours after the "live" game. They also have scheduled replays of the game for Tuesday and Wednesday.
The moral of this story is to (a) recheck the NFL Network scheduling of the game early and often and (b)extend the duration of any recording - both forward and backwards to make certain you record it all.
Amazing! It happens every year on NFL Net and FSN-AZ; and they never seem to get it right the first time.
(Note - If things haven't changed at FSN-AZ, expect their re-airing of the game (I believe it's scheduled for late Sun. morning) to be "unblacked-out" nationally for roughly 3 or 4 minutes before they replace it with the "blue ribbon of death" on the screen).
Up here, we get NFL Network, Sunday Ticket, etc. through cable services.
The replay of the game is on the cable guide at 1AM - Sunday.
My guide show that the game is on at midnight Sunday night or if you prefer Monday Morning. I will get up at Midnight watch the game til 3 and then leave for work at 3:30 no big deal I am used to it.
A couple of weeks ago, both NFL Network's website and the DirecTV scheduling grid for NFL Network had the game airing at 1 am ET Monday night. (I had wanted to post the info as early as possible on the BRS). Air-time at that time was listed as 1 am Monday.I believe that was the time and date a few days ago.
This from the NFL Network site: (SUNDAY) 1:00 AM NFL PRESEASON GAME: HOU vs. ARI 2010 NFL Preseason Game: Houston Texans vs. Arizona Cardinals (This would be EST)
It is also on my cable guide, which I've TIVO...ed.
That's what I have too. So basically it will be on after 2 hours after the game is over.
So cool.
