Does anyone else, considering the economic and unemployment situation in the country right now, find it odd that NBC thinks it's appropiate to make a comedy about outsourced jobs to India?

The show was ok, not as bad as you might think. Politically, I think you might be making a mountain out of a molehill.

Their counting on this to do well, since they think enough of it to bump Parks & Rec to the Winter.

I think it's a fine line they are walking here and depends on how they depict it. However, I have a ton of friends working in technology who have had their jobs outsourced so they probably will not be amused by the premise of the show. I am on the fence myself having had my job outsourced once myself.

It is based on a movie with the same title. If they hold true to the movie, it will not make many angry.

Considering it's based around a company that sells novelty items, it probably won't be so bad.

In case anyone is still watching this show, is it actually funny...or do I think it's funny just because I'm Indian?

There's some funny stuff in it, but it really is hurting because of the awful leading man.

I find it entertaining and usually watch it due to to the time slot they put it in.

He reminds me of a weak Ron Livingston from Office Space. They should have cast Josh Hamilton from the movie. He was fantastic.
