Shane, I agree on the pressers. He comes across as being very honest (as much as he can) about how and why he makes the decisions he does. I also like the way he takes the blame for things rather than throwing his players under the bus. I think the staff he has assembled is probably one of the best we've ever had.
OK, now that I've shouted the virtues of Whiz let me outline some of the things that bother me. I still have a MAJOR problem with the penalties. We are NOT playing smart or discplined and I'm not seeing much improvement. We seem to have a problem with getting the plays in on time. I wonder how much of the success that Warner had early on was due to the fact that HE (Warner) was calling the plays ? And lastly, Whiz seems to default to exSteeler players a lot (Barr and others I don't remember) when looking at Free Agents, I guess that's natural and they're people he has some history with but geeeeeeze.
OK, that's it. With AW and Green out it doesn't look real good for the rest of the season, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
