I personally dont see Jerry Rice's records ever being broken. Jerry Rice is and always will be head and shoulders above Moss not only as a player but as a person!

A 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for a guy that is no doubt talented but is also a malcontent? and is in what his 6th or 7th year in the league? NO WAY!

No one's talking about the person - and I'm sure everyone forgot all about how much of a baby Jerry Rice was early in his career - even after the Super Bowl in 1988 when he bitched and complained AFTER WINNING that he should be getting all the attention - not Montana. And you think Jerry didn't come back EARLY, on purpose the on Monday night from his ACL injury the night Montana's Jersey was being retired? Jerry was incredible and one of the best ever - if not the best ever - but I do think it's possible that Moss will breaks a lot of his records.

Besides - the guy is going to be 26 - and NEVER showed any of the extreme forms of maclontent when he was with Green than he has since Green left. Personally - I don't care what you think about Moss the person - the player is an absolute freak and will be for at least another 8 years - we'd be crazy not to give up that much to get him - after all - what are we gonna miss out in the second and thrid round - a couple of guys who will make no impact like the last ten years?

You put him and Quan together on the field on offense - with Shipp and a decent O-line and we would score 30 points a game - wouldn't that be nice.

a third round pick.

Also Tampa bay gave up Keyshan to Dallas and if Gallaway can't get his contract worked out with Tampa Bay they will only get a 2nd round pick for Keyshan.

So please do't tell me it isn't going to happen; it already has.

The more I see on this forum the more I see that it is made-up of a lot of real of rel stupid members.

Allan:stupid:

If you read what I wrote, you would see that my point was that T.O. and Keyshawn WERE NOT going to be back with their teams next year. You try to get anything in return for guys you were going to lose. Moss IS NOT in that situation. You don't trade a franchise WR who just signed a contract and expect nothing in return. You're right, this forum is "made-up of a lot of real of rel stupid members" (sic).

Fans always post this kind of Ludicrous Trade Rumor.

We will give them the #3 First Round Pick for Moss and a Third Rounder or Second Rounder. They can take Fitz or M Williams with the #3 pick to replace Moss.

This is silly since this is for Minnesota in essence trading Moss for a 2nd or 3rd round pick! Since that 1st rounder has to be used to replace Moss. Stupid. And Moss' replacement might BUST or might be AVERAGE who knows how good he would be.

These kind of "they can use the draft pick to replace the player they traded" trades are laughable.

If Minnesota wants to get Ogunlye they can load up a contract MIA can't match and give up the 1 and 3 round picks. Madison if he doesn't restructure will be a FA and no one can outbid them for him.

So there you go they get Ogunlye and Madison and get to KEEP Moss instead of getting Chambers.

(2) Jerry THE WHINER Rice is better person then Moss ROTLFMAO! He actually did whine about stuff all the time unlike Moss. Remember his continual bitching about the other SF WRs getting the ball too much at the end of his career -real team player there- he set the whining example for Owens and Meyshawn which the followed to a tee.
Rice a better person then Moss. HAH! Whining about Montana. Moss is not a malconent never has been and never will be! Do malcontents say "do NOT throw the ball to me if it helps the team win if I am the decoy" Rice whined about Montana and heck he even whined in Oak. Pathetic.

He is ahead of Rice right now. Can't wait to see him destroy this big baby's records so Rice can whine for us all one more time when they go interview him.

I didnt forget about Jerry Rice's little tangent back in the day. But at least he goes out and gives it his all on every single play. Has ever since he has been in the league. Cant say tat about Moss who very clearly takes more than a few plays off a game.

If Moss breaks any of Jerrys records I will be very surprised. he has had the type of longevity that is unheard of in football and Moss just doesnt have that drive that Jerry has to be the best at his position IMO!

But as far as wanting Moss of course I would take him and all his baggage and I agree that this would be a potent offense that could put up close to 30 a game on a consistent basis. But I think a 1st 2nd and 3rd will still be to steep a price to pay. JMHO!

WHAT BAGGAGE? Being a malcontent? That is Rice not Moss.

Taking plays off I missed those! I have seen every Vikes game he has ever played. I have seen him play with serious flu symptoms and get IV at halftime. I have seen him play with serious leg injuries - I have seen him play with rib damage. Hell he is the only player I have seen play with a concussion!!!
I guess he takes plays off when he is healthy.

He has no DRIVE to beat Rice WTF? He is ahead of Rice right now. How did that happen how did this dude get ahead of Rice if he didn't have drive. I guess taking all those plays off made him go ahead of Rice. That SAT game vs KC that was a national game did you see what Moss did to pump up the team? He made his hair go all craaazzzy. This guy is playing for one thing a SB. And to win a SB he does whatever it takes.

Yes I guess that is why they had Moss call up Winefield. Cause he is a malcontent with baggage. HUH!?!?!

Owens for a 2nd rounder sounds like a real steal. He is an ass but so was Rice and both are all pros.

It doesn't change the fact that Graves is still clueless IMHO.

An excellent lesson. One that applys to most everything--even your posts! :p
