For the first time in a long time, the voters look like they got it right. Roy was the obvious choice and while you could've made a case for Marcus Williams or Pendergraph for FOY, their teams were not good enough to get such recognition.

As far as Radenovic goes, he and Marcus Williams have been carrying the Cats for weeks now. They're running the offense through him while being the only legitimate post threat and rebounder. It's been this way ever since Hassan basically decided he wasn't going to go within twelve feet if the basket unless there was an alley-oop being lobbed to him.

Roy won POY by leading UW over UCLA and Cal recently. He pretty much proved he was the best player on the court when it mattered in both games.

I think marcus Williams will probably ultimately be a better player than Mbah a Moute but considering his rebound numbers, his defense, and his impact on a team winning the title I'd agree with you Lucy probably deserved it. Luc is really showing a lot more offense than he did early in the year, the kid was supposed to be replacing Shipp at SF this year until Aboya had a 2nd knee surgery and Luc had to move to PF, that he played this well this year is pretty remarkable. Next year he'll stay there with Aboya and Keefe basically playing C(UCLA will start 2 forwards and 3 guards).

Williams is a much better shooter and ballhandler than Luc, not the rebounder or defender but a terrific all around prospect.
I think UW made a huge mistake focussing on Martell Webster and letting Williams get away, Webster predictably jumped to the NBA and quite honestly from what I've seen of Webster, Williams might be a better prospect than him too.
