LOL You say that now, but is Faneca worth it (unquestionably he IS worth the money, whether or not our team wants him) when we consider where he might end up? Either pony up the cash and sign a Pro-Bowl player who would be a perfect fit, or deal with a strong chance he signs with a division rival? Hmmmm, I wonder what I would choose....

In other words, the above report is wrong. He's going to be meeting with the Jets. If we want him, we need to go get him.

They all said that the Cards will concentrate more on their own guys and that will not go after big names early in free agency. Or, at least, that is was "unlikely".

Right now on urban's blog he says they were not going to pay that much for Faneca:

Well, it does look like the Jets will get him which means he stays out of the NFC West.
