What part of "ALWAYS INJURED" is so hard to understand? Here is aguy who turned 30 in February and has had one moderately full season in the last five.

Here is his record:

2003-04 52 games
2004-05 40 games
2005-06 42 games
2006-07 72 games
2007-08 36 games

Even in his relatively healthy season, he averaged 31.2 minutes.

But wait theres more... He is a career 39.5% shooter with at 29.4% for three. In a short number of games he averaged 8.4 assists this eason, but in the previous four he averaged:

2003-04 5.8 assists per game
2004-05 6.4
2005-06 5.0
2006-07 6.9

I'm not sure I take him at vet min prices.

Well, I think since Tinsley wouldn't have to carry the team as a back-up and with our training staff he'd be healthier during the year. I also think that besides Grainger (who Bird isn't gonna trade), the only other assets that Indy has is the #11 #17 picks, along with Dunleavy, Diener, Daniels, Foster, and maybe Diogu. I may have been a little cheap from the Indy standpoint and a little rushing on my assessment of a trade of Barbosa for Tinsley and #11. Would you do it if we could get Tinsley/#11/#17? Barbosa and Tinsley basically make the same money so the extras is what has to be added. That deal would get us 2 extra picks without even dealing with a Diaw deal. I'd love to get Dunleavy or Foster here with our core, but don't know what it would take from Bird's standpoint.

Plus all this is in relation to the fact that all of the trade rumors for the Suns have vanished or been squelched my the media recently (Webster, Jefferson, Maggett, Ford, etc). So, do the Suns have any deals confirmed or is it just smoke like in years past?

what is tinsley's current contract?

is he a good back up PG for nash?

$6.7, $7.2, $7.5 then free agent

I think he'd be good (and stay healthier) not having to play 31 minutes a game. Split him behind Nash to where Nash plays 25-28 minutes with Tinsley taking 18-25 minutes at the Point.

I know there has to be a plateau sometime soon, but "injury prone" people dont seem to worry me with our miracle working staff.

In a van...down by the river.
Toronto taking a chance on J. O Neal seems like a good gamble IMO. Its not like free agents are lining up to play in Toronto........ and Ford/Calderon weren't going to co-exist.

IMO, Tinsley would be a terrible pg. He's had injury problems his entire career, his jump shot is nonexistent (40% from the field for his career) and has a bloated contract to boot.

Additionally his off-the-court troubles and all-around attitude are cause for concern.
