T.J. McConnell isn't considered much of a 3-point threat, so Luka Doncic didn't bother closing out on him late in the first quarter Wednesday night.
McConnell drained a 3 from the left wing, then patted Doncic on the butt on the way down the court to remind Doncic that he's capable from long range.
McConnell was 14-of-45 (31.1%) for the season coming into the Indiana Pacers' game against the Los Angeles Lakers. That's less than one attempt per game.
