Went to go see this tonight with some friends from work. Enjoyable action movie with tons of sensory overload. Shallow story and some terrible acting in parts. This didn't feel like a Guillermo del Toro film. If you had told me Michael Bay directed this I wouldn't have questioned it one bit.

Having said that it still had the major cool factor. It felt like a cross between Godzilla and Voltron.

I thought it was OK. Nothing to write home about. If you like Godzilla type of movies then you will love this movie most likely.

I just watched it. I saw it on IMAX, so it was massive sensory overload. Fun movie, but I agree with several posters about the story (so-so).

Looks like a fun time. I thought of Real Steel on Roids meets Godzilla.

Don't say that...Mulli will never watch it then.

I finally caught this on HBO over the weekend. I am probably in the minority, but I liked it a little bit more than the new Godzilla. Thought it was a good time.

I just watched it this week too. I thought it was goofy but entertaining. It really did feel like a Godzilla movie in many ways. I could have done without some of the over the top performances but what the heck, I was entertained from beginning to end so I can't complain much.
