uh, this is still America, right? Just because someone is charged does that throw out the hallmark of our judicial system... you know, innocent until PROVEN guilty?

Ahhh yes...but if you have money, it's alot harder to prove you were guilty....and that IS a reality.
He is always at some sort of shooting or brawl or investigation or ruckus...there is something there, chees. We're making obsevations and 'judgements' on what we see and read that's all

You are 100% correct. But I know for a fact the guy is guilty of being an unappreciative, spoiled, dillusioned, scumbag.

He will either go to jail, or eventually get shot. Either way the guy is on borrowed time.

Every time I hear about the guy I think about what I would do with all that talent.

But Beefy you are correct that this new aged media court TV B.S. is getting out of hand. Just because CNN says something doesn't make it true.

Cheese: Did OJ Simpson kill Nicole and get away with it? Do you have an opinion on this or are you content to believe the justice system worked properly in this case?

Yes, I do think that OJ got away with it, but that's only after seeing what happened at the actual trial Skkorp - here, we haven't even gone to trial yet, so the justice system has only just begun, thus I can't say one way or another if it's worked yet. It got a charge, which by all means, from what we've heard I support, but as someone with some legal background (two years of law school), I know there's a loooooong way to go to see if all the evidence leads to a conviction or should lead to a conviction.

i just thought it was weird someone was pronouncing him "guilty" just because he was officially charged. that goes against every tenet/basis of our judicial system IMO.

let me turn the tables on you for a second and talk about another case. How did proclaiming the Duke LaCrosse players guilty turn out in that case before it even went to trial? I afforded them the same courtesy as I do Pacman because I believe in the core values of our judicial system. They were innocent until proven guilty. Not saying that will be the same outcome here (in fact, it probably won't be) but when all the stuff was coming down on those kids, I never condemned them because to do so goes against everything I believe about the tenets of the American judicial system.

there's a huge difference between saying someone looks like thye should be charged with a crime versus flat out calling them guilty before all the facts are laid out in a court of law.

In the Duke case, the worst criminals, the Duke President and self-righteous faculty, will get off with no penalties, defending and justifying their racist preconceptions. Or so I tend to expect.

That's it. No more comments from me on this. My bad. I started it and it belongs on the P&R board. Sorry everybody.

The good thing is that Duke had to pay a huge sum to the players, like in the millions. I didn't hear much about it, but I heard Beano Cook talking about it.

Pacman reportedly gained about 30 pounds of fat since he found out he was suspended for the season. I didn't believe it until I saw his booking mugshoot... Holy crap, I didn't even recogize him!!!

The only way out for Adam Jones is to "re-invent himself."

My suggestion - Become a Rastafarian and call himself "Pac-Mon."
