Starting pitching this offseason, enough said.

Starting pitching is definitely our major deficiency. I can't help but wonder what role pitching coach Mike Harkey has played.

His resume was bullpen coach in the American League with the Yankees.

He seems very nonchalant in interviews and looks to be lecturing when talking to his pitchers.

If the Front Office can bolster the starting staff during the off-season, does Mike Harkey have the experience and approach to handle it?

I think we need a pitching coach with experience -- National League experience.
