God were beyond horrible now just lost two games two games to the fing padres and scored a total of 3 runs in two games are you kidding me..... I don't see why we keep swinging for hr's when were not even a power team just swing for basehits and the hits will come but nope not with melvin as manager. Man I really hope the team can turn it around but I just don't see how they we just look dead as a team now with no energy UGLY BASEBALL.

Heard innings 4 and 5 and 9 on radio. I was out of the house on an unexpected urgency.

Can't say it was all a surprise. Right now, Dodgers are losing 5-3. We might still be in first tomorrow morning. Unbelievable.

Will watch it tomorrow.

Here is some good news, the Diamondbacks stay in first place thanks to the Giants beating the Dodgers.

I don't see it as good news at all. I figure the sooner they fall out of first, the sooner they'll realize something needs to change.

There's no better feeling than watching a former player feast on your team. :pullhair:

On the Qwest Live Diamondbacks Post-game Show (sickening that I remembered that) after Friday's game, Derrick Hall said, "well, we're still in first place". Of course, HE will try to put a positive spin on things. Right, and they've lost two in a row to a last-place team. Hopefully the Giants can help out today, I'm not sure if the D-backs can take care of things right now. Randy on the mound means either the D-backs will score one run if they're lucky, the D-backs will make at least two errors, an Arizona runner will get thrown out at home, Randy will get shelled again...or all of the above.
Prove me wrong, Diamondbacks.

Seriously can this team do anything right latly bottom of the 4th and still no runs and only one hit we are the worst offense team in baseball when just a few months ago we were one of the best.... I know its early but make a statment and fire melvin and tell the players that if they don't prodouce they will be sent down to triple a ball because this is getting disgusting. Your telling me we can't score more then 5 runs in two games vs the fing padres taht is a joke.

Consistently inconsistent.

Good win. Randy Johnson, Pena and Qualls were superb.

Still in first place.

a solid win by the dbacks today and it was really nice to see Randy pitch a great game, I was a little worried after he gave up the hr in the first inning but he buckled down and got the job done. Also that hr by upton was sweet all the up to the fridays resturant insane power by upton on display today. Good job dbacks lets get some wins togather other then just winning one every 5 games

I was worried when Qualls came into the game with a runner on 3rd. I would think he knows that he has to deliver when called upon, especially with Cruz on the DL. This team is capable of winning games, it frustrates the heck out of us when they don't do it.
