Dan Haren is scaring me. Too many recent struggles. And looking at the box score, we really didn't have many hits but they were timely and the continued plate patience is paying off.

Wonderful win. Come on Webb, broom the Padres out of here.

Anybody know?

What is/was that symbol on the arms of the Padres uniform last night? Is that new or their uniforms unchanged from last year?

Dan Haren is scaring me. Too many recent struggles.
Dan Haren was quoted as saying that he is working on his mechanics to correct whatever might have slipped.

I have confidence that he'll return to form.

But I still would like to see Webb moved back to his #1 spot in the rotation the next time the D'backs have an off-day. Haren's ERA went higher than Webb's and Webb is on the verge of winning #19.

Good win vs the Padres tonight :) to sweep the series, also grats to Webb for his 19th win man he has had one amazing season and should no doubt win the nl cy young this year not even close. Huge series coming up vs the Marlins should be fun to watch hopeing the bats stay active for the marlins. GO DBACKS AND LOSE DODGERS WELL TOMMOROW LOL

Thw Padres uniforms have not changed from last year. They are wearing the blue shirts more than the Khaki ones for some reason, though.

19 wins for Webb! On ESPN, they were saying that if Sabathia goes 15-0, he would probably be the winner unless Webb wins 22. I interpret that as Sabathia is not a D-baclk, Webb is, so CC should win it. Anyway, tonight's game, way to ruin the shutout, Lyon. Ahhhh, it's a sweep, something the D-backs SHOULD be doing to the Padres. This weekend will be tricky.

Adam Dunn ain't perfect but he is EXACLTY what this team needed for their lineup. High OPS and HR threat everytime up allows the other guys to get on base and spray the ball to all fields. NOT try to be something they are not. Apparently the bats all around him are helping him too because his avg so far his hovering near .300.
A high OBP guy is valuable in any struggling lineup.

More baserunners = more runs scored. End of story. It's one of the simplest truths in baseball history that some on this board couldn't grasp because Dunn doesn't have a traditional batting average.

Thanks, crisper. Yes, that symbol looks like what I thought I saw.
