Best bet for QBOTF is trading a 1st and a 2nd for garapollo this offseason. Pats can't keep Brady and then sign this kid to 18 mil a year to play backup for whenever Brady retires.

We clearly need a QBOTF but Carson Palmer is NOT the problem on this team. he's part of the problem IMO, but he's not the problem at all. 2 of those picks were on him and one of those was a game is essentially over I'm going to force it in and try to make a play(the 4th one). The 2 on DJ and Floyd were huge plays that killed any chance we had to come back.

as did DJ getting tripped up by his own man when he had an easy TD, then we had a delay(Palmer and the coaches) and then the bad snap leads to a TD for Buffalo that effectively killed us.

Every chance we had to win the game we squandered.

A 1st and 2nd for a guy that has played 1.5 games in the league? It's going to be a long week.

I thought Carson was throwing off his back foot quite a bit and, despite this, was steering the ball effectively to his receivers more often than not.

This, in part, was due to the inability of the OL to give him that extra half-second. It was as if he was throwing out of a manhole and "pushing" his throws rather than zipping them.

He seldom if ever was able to drive the ball and, although he was often able to overcome those bad mechanics by throwing with some degree of accuracy, it did drive up his percentage of off-target throws (including the interceptions).

I know they're not the same guy, but trading high draft picks for Garopollo makes me nervous because I would have done it for Matt Cassel in the 2008 offseason to back up Warner. I don't trust trading with Belichick.

So I got blasted but that's what it's gonna take to get him and at least you kind of know what you got. I don't see any other options and since we won't be horrible we aren't gonna have a top 3 pick to draft one. The cost to get garapollo who has played in the league will be cheaper than moving up 20 or so spots in the draft to get one in the first round.

Kids been in the league a couple years and in the couple games he has played has looked good. That's more than any kid in the draft.

Lol know what you got in him? Get real Cassel sucked and we got to see him all season. Bellichick can win with anyone it in no way says Garapollo is anything special. He is no better than Stanton for all we know talk about hyperbole!

Guess I place more value on 1st and 2nd rounders than you do brother. I wouldn't do it.

You people are nuts how the hell do you think your getting a QBOTF it's either jimmy g or AJ and your paying for a QB I don't want to draft guys in round 3 or later and hope we don't have the time

Jimmy has proven nothing dude why is that hard to understand? He has very little experience and not enough to know he isn't freaking Matt Leinart! You act as though he is some seasoned vet lol give us a break! You could draft a kid that has just as much upside as Jimmy which again is totally unknown. Bellichick has proven time and again he can win with anyone so your giving JG way way way way too much credit.

My issue is that Jimmy has shown the ability to do what Arians wants his QBS to do. I'm not sure he fits.
