I wouldn't start Gabbert yet. I would wait until Stanton proves, after managing a few games, that he is horrible as a starting QB(yes, I know that we already know this). Why throw Gabbert to the wolves right now?
They won't. They'll ride the Stanton pony for 3 or 4 games, barring injury.

If there ever was a time to see what Gabbert can do is now but Bruce "Stubborn as a mule" Arians is going to play the stiff at QB. That's called throwing in the towel.

We all know what BG can do. It's not like he's a rookie. He's been in the league seven years. He completes 56% of his passes and throws as many interceptions as touchdowns.

However, we saw what Stanton can do on Sunday in London in relief of Palmer. He stunk. IMO Gabbert is a better QB and should be the starter.

Thanks CP for leaving it al on the field, it really doesn’t matter to me till we fix the run game, I don’t care if we throw another forward pass or not until we can be fundamentally sound running the football. That is football 101 - 11 caries again what a joke - now they can blame AP and the online instead of CJ and the online - it’s stupid I tell you - STUPID!

Has he played in this offense? Many QB's have floundered for years until finding the right system. Chris Chandler floundered for years with pretty much every team in the NFL(including the Cards) before flourishing in Dan Reeves offense leading the Falcons to the Super Bowl. Jeff Hostetler won a Super Bowl as did Jim Plunkett. Besides, this season is a goner so let's see what the kid can do with better targets than he had in Jacksonville and SF. Would it really hurt?

Don't think either QB will be in a position to succeed with the current Oline

You don't know squat what BG can do.... and his stats you are mentioning (and downgrading) are better than Stantons... give it a rest... you won't have a clue until he actually plays...
