This is what the WCF looked like in 1976. The Suns weren't picked by anybody to even make the playoffs. The Warriors were a powerhouse coming off a championship season. They blew out the Suns in game #1. The Celtics were playing in the ECF....

Phoenix 103 Golden State 128
Phoenix 108 Golden State 102
Golden State 99 Phoenix 91
Golden State 129 Phoenix 133
Phoenix 95 Golden State 111
Golden State 104 Phoenix 105
Phoenix 94 Golden State 86
Phoenix wins series 4–3

Just telling by the scoreline, I would have suffered a heart attack in Game 6.

Parallels to 2008: Lakers, and Celtics finals.. This time due to crappy lopsided officiating.

I sure hope I'm wrong.

While officiating was terrible, that was NOT the main reason for getting our arses kicked

Precisely....the officiating didnt start going south until the 3rd quarter. By then, it was a lost cause

Ya trying to blame last night on officiating would be a complete waste of time and just make us look like poor losers. While the officiating wasn't perfect, the lack of rebounding, defense, inability to make the three, and scoring less points than the opponent were the main reasons why we didn't win.

I was going to joke that Joey Crawford also officiated the series in 1976, but I checked and he actually started his career a few months later in 1977.

Not as far-fetched as I first thought.

Who cares if fans are poor losers? We're freaking fans.
