Honestly, I've not been following it as much in the past couple of years, but here's a stab at it anyhow...

1. St. Louis Rams - Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska: Yes, the Rams need a QB, but I don’t think they roll the dice on Bradford. They need to “hit” on this pick or they’re going to be in this position again in the years to come. Suh is safer.
2. Detroit Lions - Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State: I think the Lions are a better team than their record indicates. A little extra time for Stafford to find CJ and a couple more holes for Smith could spell good things for this team.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gerald McCoy, DT, Okalahoma: He’s good. Real good.
4. Washington Redskins - Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma: Shanahan has expressed confidence in Campbell…this year. But the future is a different story.
5. Kansas City Chiefs - Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa:
It might be tempting for Haley to go after Dez Bryant here and try to recapture a dynamic two-WR offense, but in the end he adds stability to the trenches.
6. Seattle Seahawks - Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame: Hasselbeck’s body is about 5 years older than the rest of him. Makes sense that the ‘Hawks go QB here, IMO.
7. Cleveland Browns - Eric Berry, FS, Tennessee: The Browns need playmakers just about everywhere. Again, Dez Bryant is a big temptation but without a legit downfield QB, Berry is the pick.
8. Oakland Raiders - Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State: I don’t think this is a need pick, or maybe even BPA. It’s a Davis pick which defies all logic. Bryant might end up working out for Oakland…I mean, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while, right?
9. Buffalo Bills - Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland: Bills need a safe pick this year—they need a solid contributor right away so I don’t think you’re going to see anything fancy out of them.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida: Del Rio might pull a hammy getting to the podium so fast. JPP is a great fit in Jax, IMO.
11. Denver Broncos (From Bears) - Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama: In NE, Daniels saw a team that thrived with a 3-4 defense built around solid LB play. Last year he was beaten up pretty good here in Denver for not taking a defensive player. The lock of the draft is that he goes defense here (provided Marshall is still on the team).
12. Miami Dolphins - C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson: Yes, the Dolphins already have Brown and Williams…but neither of those guys can do what Spiller does. I think the Dolphins look to spiller to add another dimension to their offense and add yet another wrinkle for teams to have to think about when defending them.
13. San Francisco 49ers – Taylor Mays, S, Southern Cal
14. Seattle Seahawks (From Broncos) - Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
15. New York Giants - Brian Price, DT, UCLA
16. Tennessee Titans - Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan
17. San Francisco 49ers (From Panthers) - Joe Haden, CB, Florida
18. Pittsburgh Steelers - Mike Iupati, OL, Idaho
19. Atlanta Falcons - Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
20. Houston Texans - Earl Thomas, S, Texas
21. Cincinnati Bengals - Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
22. New England Patriots - Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
23. Green Bay Packers - Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
24. Philadelphia Eagles - Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
25. Baltimore Ravens - Everson Griffen, DE, Southern Cal
26. Arizona Cardinals - Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
27. Dallas Cowboys - Jared Odrick, DT, Penn St
28. San Diego Chargers - Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State
29. New York Jets - Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri

30. Minnesota Vikings - Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
31. Indianapolis Colts - Charles Brown, OT, Southern Cal
32. New Orleans Saints – Brandon Spikes, ILB, Florida

I don't know why I can't embrace drafting an OL. I guess I'd rather continue drafting guys later and plugging them in, and using higher picks on defenders and impact players.

If the draft played out this way, I just can't see us passing on Weatherspoon, especially with Lott getting all pumped up by him at the combine. I view him as the fiery leader our defense is missing in the LB Corps.

I'm personally hoping we draft Weatherspoon. But, of a player like Williams is there for us (and we've added Porter and Foote), I can see the Cards going in another direction.

Bruce Campbell isn't by any means a "safe pick." He had a mediocre career at Maryland and was a late-second/early-third round pick until the Combine. IMO, Trent Williams is the second-best OT prospect in the draft after Okung, but he may go third after Bulaga, whom I think ends up a ROT or OG.

I mean your logic is sound, and Williams is probably going to be a pretty good player, but eh it's just not sexy.

My draft dream would be to get Weatherspoon or McClain and trade up for the other.

What would be the cost to trade up to get McClain?

If we gave up our first in 2011 what else would we have to give up? A third this year/next year? Or higher/lower?

I can't see Philly passing on Weatherspoon, he can play inside & outside & they need some talent At LB.

Cards could have a dilema IF this guy falls in the draft, because of his limited production in college somewhat.

You say this, however Philly doesn't have a linebacker on their squad that they took higher than the 3rd round. Personally, I don't think that they value the linebacker position in the first round, kind of like Denver used to be with running backs.

I think unless they trade out Suh is the Rams pick. He's head and shoulders the BP in this draft class. He's goes 1st this yr.

Like Detroit picking Okung.. Haven't heard a lot of people picking him there but it makes perfect sense for them.

Oak goes D this yr. Morgan from "Ga. Tech

Pierre-Paul to Jax. seems like a fit.

Don't see KC or Seattle passing on an elite DB in Berry if available.

Price the DT - UCLA is another intriguing prospect that could possibly slide our way. Put him inside with someone on nickles and he could wreak havok. I'
d take him over Cody in a heartbeat.

If one of the top six OT"S Fall our way< it will be tough to pass up>

maybe so, but I would jump for joy if he's there at #26

WE currently have two potentially solid OL men now. Kieth and Johnson. Drafting an OL in the 1st round would be the wrong thing to do. The rest of the picks are pretty good. I wish I could study players like you. I say D-line or Defensive back in the 1st.

We just lost our starting LT. We pass more than any other team in league and there is a huge question wheter we will run the ball good enough to change that.

Trent Williams is the real deal. His tape shows a polished lineman with a great punch and balance. He will be a very good starting LT for any team.

Okung and Williams are two of the best prospects i have seen in a while for LT position.

What if Herman J. or Keith are exposed as weak pass protectors on Leinart's blind side? Bridges showed he wasn't the answer on the outside by any means.

Yes, but because I doubt Trent Williams will fall this far. People forget that he ran almost as fast as Campbell and tested as well in other areas also. This with the fact that he had a much better college career means he should be taken before Bruce.

one guy you have in the 1st round, and i think will work his way back into 1st round talk, is Spikes. In fact, i wouldn't be surprised to see him being the Cards pick. Basing it on his on-field play, the most important thing, he's definitely a 1st rounder. His "dropping" is all based on rumor so far. As long as he doesn't run a ridiculosuly slow 40, he's a very good prospect.

I just believe this staff is extremely confident in Keith. For 2 years they have done nothing but rave about his athletic ability and footwork and his ability to play T. They have groomed him for two years for this day imo. Plus they have Bridges as an "adequate" fall back. This team believes in bringing along young talent to plug holes. I don't see T being any different. JMO.

Signing Hadnot, Bridges, and Claxton makes me think the Cards will ignore the OL for the entire draft unless something ridiculous, like Bulaga dropping to them, happens.
