Who would you rather see pitch Game 4 tonight?

Rookie pitcher without tape available on him or an average veteran?

Saunders.

I can see us using Parker in some short relief but to throw him out there to start or for any extended period of time is asking too much of him.

Going to the game tonight...with how Saunders has been lately, and the fact that he hasn't been good in the postseason, I'd go with Parker. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Other than last game, Saunders has been lights out good

Parker definitely was not ready mentally for the game tonight. At least he didn't Ziegler it.

If Roberts makes that play at 3rd, Parker's inning would've been totally different.
Still, I'm really not sure why Gibby put him in there... game was still way too close for a kid who had only seen action in a big league game ONCE in his career!

Most curious move, especially since he let Micah bat, and Micah was pitching well.

I didn't get that at all either. Micah had pitched 2 shutout innings and a playoff elimination game is not a time to say, "Let's see what the new kid can do." Luckily it worked out in the end.

It almost bit us, but I totally agreed with the move. Last night, for whatever reason, it felt like no lead was safe. The Brewers felt like a virus that was rapidly adapting to any cure we threw at it. All of our pitchers had a short shelf-life because the Brewers were getting men on base all night.

Gibby changed directions as much as he had to to keep ahead of the constantly shifting virus that is the Brewer Bats.

Parker wasn't on last night, but I think it was worth exploring

Yep. Not a terrible move. It was worth a shot with the lead and early in the game.

He should have definitely left Micah in the game, especially after allowing him to bat. He was dealing.
