Why are we running this particular scheme?
my guesses:

1. plays to the strengths of current offensive personnel
2. consistent with a defensive HC philosophy as well
3. designed to protect a defense with mid personnel

my hope is that as WRs improve in experience and depth, the offense gets more aggressive - but i think thats a 2025 kinda thing, not the next 5 games

the Lions, Eagles, 49ers and even Browns all have run first philosophies, but take their fair share of deep shots down the field.

You know what would help this defense? Scoring more points. We don’t take nearly enough deep shots.
Even if you don’t hit a deep shot there’s a chance of pass interference and it forces the defense to loosen up.

Least explosive offense in the nfl by design.. it’s boring football that won’t win you games. The game is constructed nowadays to score points. If you don’t, then you won’t win consistently. It’s a simple concept that holds true. No one is winning a championship regularly scoring 21 or less points in 2024 and beyond
