Hello fellow cards fans. Before you scroll through, realize I am a regular visitor and occasional poster here at ASFN. I am also a Glendale Firefighter and member of our regional public safety football team, the Phoenix Thunder. The Phoenix Thunder is comprised mainly of other firefighters from cities such as Phoenix and Glendale, but we do have a few of our Police Dept counterparts that play on our team too. We play other Fire and Police teams around the country such as New York, Chicago, and Dallas. We play to have a little fun in our middle ages, but also to raise money for charities and give back to the community. We support charities such as the "Wounded Warrior Project" as well as our annual football clinic we put on for the Thomas J. Pappas School for homeless children. This year, we have teamed up with the Pat Tillman Foundation to promote the raffle of this one of a kind Pat Tillman tribute chopper, being constructed by Evolution Custom Cycles of Tempe. The chopper has an estimated street value of $85,000 dollars, and will be on display at the annual Pat Tillman 4.2 mile run in April. Tickets are $20 a piece, with proceeds going to the Pat Tillman Foundation. The drawing is scheduled for September 11th, and the winner will be presented the bike at halftime of the following Cardinal home game. Our Goal is to sell 10,000 tickets prior to the deadline.

If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, you can do it one of a few ways. You can PM me, letting me know your interested, and we can coordinate a time and place I can meet you. The tickets can be purchased at any of our (Phoenix Thunder) home games, during the Pat Tillman run in April, or they can be purchased online at tillmanchopper.com. I would prefer to meet you and give ticket in hand, as our team gets credit for the number of tickets we sell. Either way, I think its a point of interest for many of the fans here at ASFN. Marie Tillman signs off on ANYTHING that happens in the name of Pat Tillman. She is very supportive of the project and the fact that our team has stepped up to promote it as well. Check out the website, take a look at the illustrations. Its a pretty neat design, featuring things such as a Ranger tab on the front fender, cardinal stuff in the center, and the ASU/ sparky logo on the rear. The bike is in the early stages of construction (as of super bowl weekend they were waiting on the forks), but as I am told should be completed, with the exception of paint, by the time the annual run happens.

Thanks for your time.

Nice looking bike. I'll be in Arizona in late March and will PM you to see if I can pick up a ticket from you.

*However*, not that I'm doubting the validity of this, it would be nice to see something on the Tillman Foundation site or the Pat's Run site that mentions this, just to be 100% sure it's on the up and up. :)

If it's there, I missed it, but I just perused each site and didn't spot any mention of this.
