There's nothing wrong with it if you have that luxury. We don't.

You can't afford to spend primo picks or limited cap on a position of decreasing importance when we have many more important holes.
Where are these “ Primo” picks you speak of?
Do you know who runs our drafts?
We will be extremely lucky if two players from this draft make it to a second contract... basically gonna be just one.
We need a starting caliber RB and don’t have any cap space.... so you draft one....

don’t get me wrong.... we can draft AVT and plug him in at RG and I’ll be stoked....

but barring improvements on the online we need a rb

Fourth best Cr or Wr every time. Chances are really high that the "best" player at any given position is not the best player at that position anyway.

The draft is essentially playing the lottery. Go for positional value as often as possible. That gives better long term results.
