I can't think of a better example of a player that deserves that type of contract, But if he has a career ending injury (God forbid) any time soon, The team would be screwed for a decade.

I just can’t see either getting a similar contract at this point , especially the years. Jerry has been standing his ground hard & Lamar has a bigger risk of injury due to his running skills. I might be wrong, but it would be a tough sell to me.

I would not give Lamar anything extended that dang long since he runs in a physical manner and he is more of a runner still than a passing QB
