I thought about that. But what difference does it make if the Cards draft 3rd or 8th they'll either draft the wrong guy or lose him at the end of his rookie contract?

There's also this: The Cards lost 7 in a row and then won 2 of their last 4 games in 2010 and still got Patrick Peterson. Gonna be fun watching him play for the Giants or the Ravens or the Dolphins 4 years from now. :p

Hey Red Desert---looks like we have "a winner in town!"

Man---he is like a human pinball---unreal speed, lower body control and balance!!!

It's also good to note that the Cards would have drafted Von Miller rather than Peterson if he was on the board. We actually lucked into not having a higher pick last year

Definitely mixed emotions on this one. A win is always fun. Especially watching it unfold sitting next to my buddy that happens to be a die hard Rams fan. But for some reason, it seems like a cheap way to get a win. It didn't tell us anything about our offense. On one hand, a win is a win. On the other hand, I'm watching OT Kalil slip farther out of our reach.

Looked like PP21 was channeling his inner Les Miles, pulling a win out of thin air.

He looks amazing. Everytime a ball gets thrown his way (even though he still is working out the kinks in coverage) or the opposition lines up to punt I get excited.

I wonder what play they were going to run when he went out on offense.

Hopefully hiding in a dark room.

Peterson is going to be a complete beast! Just imagine when this team can start to generate a pass rush, and PP can really start to play physical, he's going to be shutting down WR's no problem. That INT he made was amazing, had the speed to catch up and the athleticism to catch it at it's highest point. He should get some pro bowl consideration this year for sure if he continues to improve as he has been.

so far I've only made it to this and the Panthers games this year. Funny coincidence, but I'll take it

the more I think about it. I don't think I've watched the cards lose in person since our SB season. In 09, I only saw the Vikings, and then Pack playoff games. 2010, I didn't make a single game (working Sundays). And now these games this year. lol lucky streak

Hard to get hurt when no one can get more than a hand on you!

I was totally bummed when Ryan Williams went down, but PP has more than made up for his absence in terms of excitement. Anyone else want to see him get a few chances to work his magic on kick returns? I think it is worth a shot, it worked well for the Bears and D. Hester. If only Beanie Wells had Peteron's lower body strength and balance, he'd be a monster.

This is what I feel like I am watching every time PP houses one:

I was also really put out when Williams went down. And totally agree, PP is insane to watch. The way he sheds tacklers without losing any speed is unreal. Back to back weeks with runbacks? A NINETY-NINE yard runback??? We are the Cardinals right? But I'm in no rush to replace LSH as kick returner. He's a beast himself in case you forgot
