The New England Patriots announced the nominees for the team's Hall of Fame class this year, and they include several fan favorites.

Julian Edelman, Adam Vinatieri and Logan Mankins are the player nominees this year.

Edelman and Vinatieri are each three-time Super Bowl champions with the team. Mankins is a six-time Pro Bowler and six-time All-Pro selection.

Former New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Parcells will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, Robert Kraft announced last week.

Fans can vote now for who they want to be chosen for this year's class.

How to vote for Patriots Hall of Fame inductees

Fans can vote on the Patriots' website at www.patriots.com/hof through midnight on Wednesday, April 30.

The team said it will announce the fans' selection later that week.

Though fans have the final say, the nominees are actually selected by a panel of media, alumni and staff. The team is the only one in the NFL to allow fans to cast the final vote on their Hall of Fame inductees.

What to know about this year's Patriots Hall of Fame nominees

Vinatieri played for the Patriots for ten seasons from 1996 to 2005, during which he won three Super Bowls with the team. He went on to play for the Indianapolis Colts until his retirement in 2021. He is widely considered one of the greatest kickers of all time.

He famously kicked both the game-tying and winning field goals through a blizzard in the 2001 AFC Divisional Round against the Oakland Raiders.

Edelman played his whole career with the Patriots from 2009 until his retirement in 2021. He won three Super Bowls in New England and was named MVP of Super Bowl LIII. He also sits third in NFL history with 118 postseason receptions.

"In great company," Edelman wrote of his nomination on X.

Mankins played nine of his 11 NFL seasons with the Patriots, during which he was named team captain three times. He also started all 130 regular season and 17 postseason games that he played in for the Patriots.
