i can't imagime them passing on the Carolina/Giants game. That's a no-brainer to me.

they ought to take some money and put an environmental simulator in the practice facility something that could provide for cold rain sleet whatever that would be cool

PFT said the same thing yesterday if the Panthers won, which they did. It's a no-brainer to pick up that game.

That was addressed in the blog post:

FOX is allowed to protect one game that week, but it already has the Panthers-Giants game and isn't going to give that up.

Fox will protect that game, making our game with the Pats the most attractive to NBC.

If Fox actually had the ability to protect that game and didn't, they are certifiably insane. That game is huge.

Hard to know what they are thinking, the NFL did move two Fox games to later in the day for their double-header package....

the Philadelphia Eagles-Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons-Minnesota Vikings games on Sunday, Dec. 21 move from 1:00 p.m. ET to 4:15p.m. ET on FOX.

It means the Cardinals game stays with an early start. I was kind of hoping for a later start figuring that might give the Cardinals a better shot at starting faster.

They can play the game in Canada for all I care but forget the national coverage. We just don't do well when everybody is watching. It's like having a shy bladder, the harder you try the worse it gets. :)

I wonder how much arm twisting the NFL did with Fox to get them to give up this game. Its not something you would think that Fox would give up willingly.

It looks like all those games should be huge and it'd be hard to pick one over the other.

Looks like the Eagles-Redskins game was protected by FOX.

In fairness to FOX, apparently the networks had to submit their list of protected games by the first week of October, so back then the Philly-Washington game looked a lot better.

it should be but hopefully the cardinals dont lay an egg on national tv again. We need to blow out the patriots in NE, that will give us some love. WE are going to win that first playoff game no matter what, the crowd wills us to victory
