It's safe to say New England Patriots fans aren't happy with the team allowing Stefon Diggs to leave Foxborough without a deal.
The Patriots faithful are taking to social media to voice their opinions on the four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver's visit on Thursday. NFL insider Albert Breer described the interaction as a "good visit," and he also stated the two sides will "keep talking."
But no contract appears imminent.
Diggs is on his way back home, and the Patriots are still stuck with the same receivers they had last season, outside of Mack Hollins.
Money isn't an excuse since the Patriots are the most cap-rich team in the NFL. Fans are quickly running out of patience, despite a solid free agency spent addressing various needs on the defensive side of the ball. But the offense has the same old holes the team has worked years to patch.
Here's how fans reacted to the Diggs update on social media:

Yeah, NAH.
You throw the bag directly at his face before he leaves. pic.twitter.com/ZRKWSBCKVY

Stefon Diggs chooses the Cowboys over the Patriots. That’s too bad, but I know people inside Gillette Stadium feel good about their offensive unit and personnel. The belief is they’ll be improved. https://t.co/HLYYFRqUo9pic.twitter.com/MiXWVYSptM

They aren't signing him lmao. They bring in a Titans player who played for Vrabel and sign him right away yesterday. They bring in Stefon diggs for PR purposes and he leaves without a contract they want you to believe they are trying to help Drake. They really aren't lol https://t.co/LFAaTZ2pNY
