Terms and details still need to be set, but New England Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien was in final talks with Penn State about becoming the school's first new head football coach in nearly a half-century. A person with knowledge of the search told The Associated Press that nothing was official as of Friday and that there was no signed contract.
