When you're 0 for 6,487 in that kind of situation I call that stupid, not gutsy (hyperbole notwithstanding). Especially when you're that deep under the rim and surrounding by several Pelicans, one of whom is among the greatest shot blockers we've ever seen. The last one, you can sort of justify, he had a little space and a good look at the rim. The problem is, he just isn't a good shooter from there and we had wide open shooters and room to pass.

It was a battle for the ball under the basket. I give Tucker credit for getting second chances. He is so focused fighting for the ball, I don't think he has time to think about further options. It is a lot easier said than done to pass the ball in this situation.

Bled almost single handedly kept the Suns in this...He's doing everything he can to blow our draft...Lol.

Sorry Bled...Not tonight

We agree, Bledsoe gave it his all.

I just got off the phone with the sponsors of todays game; Filibertos. They are not happy with PJ missing those shots. They said
"No burritos para PJ esta noche!!!"

However, he gets to keep the girl on his lap. :)

I think I choose the latter.

Ahh, people miss shots, that's no big deal. The big deal is taking that initial shot in the first place. He's been stuffed almost every time he's done it, you'd hope he'd eventually learn better. It's a team game, it's great that he works his butt off to get those balls but it does his team no good when he almost always converts those hustle moments into turnovers or missed shots. By now he should know better.

This was a scary scary game.

I am scared what we will do, how did we not hold out Chandler and Bledsoe until the allstar game?

This was a prime opportunity to do it, 2 crucial tank games coming up, Chandler on a bum ankle and Bledsoe due for a nice break.
Yet we played and tried hard to win, that is scary.

Why does this organization have this false pride? Even the Lakers are blatantly tanking when necessary despite their legacy.

Personally I think we win that game if we'd held out Chandler, he gets killed by Davis even more so than our other bigs. Tucker plays him much better, even Len plays him better but he can't stay on the court for very long when he does. But yeah, with Bledsoe, we're competitive with New Orleans and without him, it's no contest.

See...Now maybe you're understanding my paranoia about the Suns now.. I'm going to be one angry SOB if they blow our potentially very sweet #2 to some Alex Len #5 crapola... Don't make me go there because it wont be pretty!

Sorry slin... Len is A O K....He's still developing

Well my example for disaster would be the Bender pick but ok.

It would be a disaster if they ended up 5th and draft Markkanen indeed.

Until this year none of the players drafted ahead of Len were any good really.

Otto Porter is having a great year now but I rather have Len than Benett, Zeller or Oladipo. So it is not like the draft position was that important.

The other interesting players from that year were Giannis and maybe Schroeder at 17 but Schroeder is no better than Len really.

The Suns will try even harder to win against the Lakers I'm sure. It would have been good to rest Chandler and Bledsoe before the All-Star break but this is not the way the Suns operate.

Both Schröder and Oladipo are better and more valuable players than Len.

Rudy Gobert is pretty good as well.
If we're talking about that draft class then Giannis, Gobert, Adams, McCollum, Porter, Hardaway Jr, Schroeder, KCP, and Oladipo have all done better than Len.

Olynyk and Len are about on the same tier imo and both should be getting paid similarly this summer.

If only it worked that way. Clearly Len would not be the #4 pick as you point out. The lure of some team paying for Len's upside is likely in free agency.
