The cap will almost certainly go up, and by quite a bit, once the new TV deal is in place. That’s what drives the NFL.

In two seasons, the Cardinals are going to have crazy amounts of money to spend.

That's why a few million in dead money for some of these guys is going to be chump change.

That's what people on here were saying earlier this year, lots of money. But, now? Not so much. It will be the same way in two years, most likely, I think. Being pessimistic. o_O

Only if they don't re-up ant of the players that are pending free agents in the next two seasons.

The Cards had "crazy amounts of money to spend" this offseason and they ended up with a re-up Fitz and Hump, a big deal for a one-year wonder DT, and a couple of veteran role players.

That's not how you build a team, and that's Barnwell's whole point.

A good team is built through the draft and extending your own best players
Having plenty of money and use it for other free agents normally is not the solution
But I think those signing improved our team cause in some positions we were terrible
Dennard is an average OLB but he is better then Reddick
Campbell is better then Joe Walker
Phillips is better then Bullard brown and Kerr

LOL crazy amounts?

The Colts had crazy money to spend. Even if the Cardinals lock up Hopkins and resign Peterson, and not even considering the cap increases, the Cardinals will have a lot to spend.

4 million dead money will be a drop in the pan.

K9's right here. You don't have that much money when you look at how few players are signed. This is where you have to draft well, which we haven't been.

This stuff stacks up.
