They did a segment yesterday on NFL Live about QBs that needed a win and LT was number 4, they said it is important for a rookie to win his first start. I went immediately to the board to see if there was any news, and nothing. So maybe they know something or maybe their coming to their own conclusion.

the thing is this...

not often do you see someone suffer symptoms of concussion, get tested and play the very next week ( regardless of position).

And carson "you've got some nerve" palmer cannot be counted on to do anything until this nerve issue is GONE ( and it is not gone).

So if you sift through the blind faith then I think logically this game will have to be started by logan Thomas. So disappointing, I hope he throws for 3 td and 300 + but I highly doubt it.

They may be speculating, but I think this is reasonable speculation. I would anticipate some QB runs incorporated into the game plan this week. Maybe even some zone read stuff. Not our typical offense, but you gotta keep 'em guessing and get Thomas off to a positive start.

I have confidence in Thomas. Has had a week to take snaps with the 1st string guys and now he will be 100% sure that he will be playing. Not easy to come off the bench, in Denver, with the game still in reach and expect to be perfect (or even effective). Tough for a young rookie player. Washington has a good defense, but seeing what a running QB can do (Wilson), they can be beat. Not saying LT is anywhere close to Wilson, but using the running QB as an example. Couldn't really ask for a better time for us to be playing 2 below average teams in the next 2 weeks.

I don't expect Logan Thomas to win this game , I expect the Red Skins to lose this game .
Look closely , they have found a way to lose 4 of their 5 games , why would I think they can't find a way to lose this game ????

Even if he passes, I bet Thomas still starts and Stanton becomes 2nd or 3rd QB.

if Stanton CAN get on the field, he has to be there. Thomas gives us pretty much zero chance to win this weekend. He's a complete project and if we want to get to the playoffs, a conference home game against a bad team is a MUST win.

test is today

Cheat Drew cheat!

In all honesty that's really the darkside of this stuff, you can see why before there were strict rules on it teams just let guys play knowing they shouldn't.

So much money at stake the incentive to play someone you know isn't ok yet over a raw rookie is awfully tempting.

I actually in one Fantasy league have both our defense and Washingtons now. So if Thomas starts I start Washington, if he doesn't start, I start our defense a probably.

I sit any player that is playing against Cards. I sat Manning and Sanders in my 2 leagues(I did replace Manning with Wilson n one league, so it wasn't so bad :) ). I just can't go for them when they are against the Cards. Just can't do that as a die hard fan. Oh, I did still win on both of my leagues well benching them. ;)

I'm going to bench Morris this weekend too. ;)

I used to do that. The way I figure I want the Cards to win, I don't care how, but I'm playing the league based on what I THINK will happen. My brain tells me if Thomas starts it'll probably be a low scoring game with turnovers, and hopefully we win.

No matter how they do it, a win would be good. ;)

Agreed! If Stanton is cleared to play then he starts.

I don't think you can really cheat.. I think it is more of a cognitive/aptitude test where they have a baaseline on you and then compare the results to when you are concussed to assess the impacts. It's not as simple as a doctor going "How do you feel Drew?" and him saying "Good to go, doc!"

An Ugly Win is far better looking than a pretty loss.

An Ugly Win for every game remaining on the Cards' schedule would be beautiful!

Remember, the last team that ends its season with a win is the SB Champ!!!

There is no way I let Thomas start. I would start Palmer even if he could only throw the ball 15 yards.

Good point JO-----a team losing the game is almost always the case. Thus the statement by Arians, "Cardinals will no cause Cardinals to lose".

Love that quote. Cardinals will not cause Cardinals to lose. He may have said Cardinals won't beat Cardinals. Or both at some point, LOL. But the point is the same.

He instilled that from the beginning of camps, when he got so PO'd about fights, and Cardinals fighting Cardinals, and making them run endless gassers. Even on NFL radio they were saying they couldn't believe how many gassers BA made them run for fighting after a full days practice. They really couldn't believe it.

I would honestly say that's the reason we're 3-1 right now. Because of our ability to minimize mistakes. We have no other justification for it.
