Cleveland Plain Dealer reporting that Ken Whisenhunt interviewed with the Browns today for a 2nd time & has emerged as the leading candidate for their HC position. I hate the Steelers & Ravens, so this would be an ideal landing spot.

Here's hoping that he gets the job. It would be best for him and the Cardinals.

Cleveland? He could stay here and play golf every day and pocket 5.5 mil. I guess he really does want to coach this year.

From the Browns board... ouch:

"Wisenhunt for 2nd interview.....Great, they are goingto hire the genius who took D Anderson off our hands. Way to go Browns managment, would not expect anything less of you."

the Browns... after the Cardinals, huh? Man, Wiz either has the most self-confidence of any Coach in the history of football, or he's a bigger glutton for punishment than EVERYONE on this board combined.

And he is still easily the best HC in Cleveland since Belichick.

He's their third choice, but IMO he isn't a bad hire. They have had a succession of knuckleheads there. Whis is an upgrade over most of them. He's {Cleveland} drafting one position ahead of us, so hopefully he leaves Chance Warmack for us. :D

I'd love to trade them Floyd for their first.

@nfldraftscout: Two guys I wouldn't even touch: Ken Whisenhunt and Todd Haley. No thanks. Many other quality coaches out there.

I concur

If our draft record is any indication, we have nothing to worry about. :D :bang:

I think this actually may be a pretty decent time to get the Browns job. They have some pretty good talent on both sides of the ball, and the Steelers and Ravens are at the end of their runs.

I hope Cleveland is ready for an epic Weeden vs. McCoy QB battle.

Also, my condolences go out to Trent Richardson. He'll likely be in a timeshare with Hardesty by week 3.
