Okay. We won ugly last week. The week before against the Rams was easier but still not a complete game.

Raod game. Division foe. Reigning West Champs. An opportunity to rip the crown away from the Seahawks.

We have our doubters out there. We all know what this team is capable of both offensively and defensively.

Offensively we have been dominating for the most part.
Defensively we have been very formidable at times but vulnerable to the big play.
Special teams have sparkled at times but has been better than in the past.
Kicking game has been solid except for our punter the last two games.

We need to put it all together this week and send a message to the rest of the league. WE ARE OFFICIALLY PLAYERS IN THE NFC.

The Seahawks and fans can talk all they want about being a proud team. Yes, they have had their share of misfortune but haven't we had our share of misfortune over the years. We need to get up early in this game. Make the fans realize this is their swan song. Get them out of the game and thinking about the 09' draft. Make them start planning Holgrems going away party a little earlier than expected.

This is the game. This is the perfect time to officially start a new era in Cardinal football. I hope our guys go in to Seattle like a pack of rabid dogs. No bobbing. No weaving. Throw haymakers from the opening bell and rip the NFC West belt right out of the hands of the Seahwks.

Go get em', Guy's!

The Seahawks talk of renewed optimism with players coming back from injury. They have been the Champions of this division for years. This is a game the Cardinals must win, for themselves, no one else. A win in that building puts an end to their reign, forever.

The weather looks like it will be perfect.
The Seahawks are decimated with injuries.
On paper we should win going away.

But in my head, I feel like we are about to lose. Hasselbeck couldn't have waited one more week??

My fingers are crossed.

Road wins in the NFL are tough to come by. I'd like us to make this a statement game. The NFC West is OURS!

This probably will sound stupid, but I'm hoping we barely scrape off a win and we play horribly doing it.

With the G-men coming to town the following week, I want the team to be pissed off and ready to show the world they're for real.

It just seems like when they have a complete great game, there's a little let down in the next game.

For example, we crush Miami, then lose to Washington. We destroy Buffalo, then almost give the game away to the Felons.

We crush St. Louis, then should have lost to San Fran.

That's the one thing that worries me about this team is sometimes they seem to believe the hype. I really wish Whiz was more critical in his press conference instead of saying that he's glad they won. There was a lot of sloppy play that would've killed us if we were playing a really good team. We can't afford those types of mistakes against the elite teams.

If you look at New Enlgand, they never get too high on themselves with a win and are always quick to point out their flaws and how they could've played better. It's that mentality that keeps them saying that they still haven't arrived yet or played a complete game.

Their fans are extremely optimistic that the return of Hasselbeck and Branch will be the difference maker, like they are getting Montana and Rice for this game. I think it might hurt them more than it helps. The report is that Hasselbeck was rusty all week and Branch has played one half of football all season long. While we are a little dinged up in the secondary, they shouldn't have to exert too much enery covering some sub par WRs.

The only thing that is going to stop the Cards is the Cards. If they make mental mistakes, give up too many big plays and commit countless pentalties, it won't be close. My mind says that we can't have two lapses in consecutive weeks, so this should go to plan.

I'm trying to remember the last time we won 3 games in a row. Wasn't it 1998 right before the playoffs?
